  • Learn the AI pipeline and logic skills needed to build AI projects.

Module 2. Applied AI – Fruit vs. Vegetable Classification

  • Create AI pipeline and label datasets for AI training.

  • Train an AI model to classify fruits and vegetables.

  • Test and deploy the AI model, observing it recognize new fruits and veggies..

Module 3. Computer Vision in Action – Disney Character Recognition

  • Demo Overview – Explore a full demonstration of the AI Safety Chatbot to understand its key features and behavior.                       

  • Logic Development – Learn how to design the chatbot’s decision-making process and interactive flow.

  • Implementation – Use PictoBlox’s block-based coding to bring your chatbot’s logic to life step-by-step.

Module 4. Real-Time AI – Emotion and Mood Detection

  • Prepare and label datasets of facial expressions for training

I’m Dr. Faisal Naeem, an Assistant Professor at the University of the Fraser Valley, Canada, and the Founder of the Ethical AI Lab for Kids. I specialize in AI education, ethical chatbot development, and programming—bringing complex technology to young learners in a fun, creative, and responsible way.

With extensive experience in designing and delivering hands-on, project-based learning sessions, I’ve taught kids how to build logic, develop games, and explore the world of coding through engaging and age-appropriate methods. I regularly lead workshops, training sessions, and interactive courses focused on coding, AI, and ethical technology use tailored specifically for children.
